The Panadero family has been connected to the steel sector for more than five generations. In its early days they were dedicated to the iron tools for agriculture.
In 1952, Sebastián Panadero’s father passed away. Sebastian was only 17 years old when he took charge of a local workshop of around five workers in his hometown Tarazona de la Mancha (Albacete). It was a hard time, but Sebastián’s vision and determination made it possible to establish our company and start producing the first stove models. The main market at that time was the hardware stores and later on the first national DIYs and supermarket stores. The tiny workshop grew exponentially to a sizeable production and warehouse facilities in different locations in town.
In 2000 Sebastián retires and his son Miguel takes charge of the company, although he had been involved in the company since he was a little boy. From this moment the export process grows step by step to become a leading pattern for the company´s growth. France was the first market where Panadero started working with the DIYs. After that Belgium, Italy, Portugal, Germany and many others followed. Nowadays, we have presence in 26 countries.
In 2009 the company unifies both the production and warehouse spaces and creates up-to-date newly built factory in Albacete. The means of production got rationalized and the warehouse and logistic departments and flows got more optimized. This new factory counts with the latest art machinery and technology available on the market.
In 2017 Panadero Company gets a head on the times and develops cutting-edge models adjusting them to the new and strict European norm EcoDesign 2022. These models suppose an evolution in the manufacture concept of the stoves which result in obtaining stoves with higher performance and efficiency and very low emissions. The production of environment-friendly stoves becomes a guideline in the manufacture process. Moreover, the machines are hermetic and include external air intake. Their energetic classifications is the highest one, reaching A or A+ grade and offer a prolonged warranty period up to 5 years.
Panadero employs up to 100 people to these days, who make all this possible and bring a promising future to the company. New challenges, continuous development of more sophisticated and innovative machines and new markets are some of the pending issues this company is dealing with; and for many more years.
