WE ARE MANUFACTURERS
The Panadero family has worked in the steel industry for more than five generations. In the early days they made iron tools for farming.
In 1952, Sebastián Panadero’s father passed away. Sebastián was only 17 when he took charge of a local workshop with around five workers in his home town of Tarazona de la Mancha (Albacete). Times were hard, but his vision and determination made it possible to build the company and produce the first stove models. Back then the main customers were hardware stores, and later the first national DIY chains and supermarkets. The small workshop grew quickly, until production and storage filled several premises around the town.
In 2000 Sebastián retired and his son Miguel took charge of the company, having been involved in it since he was a boy. From then on, exports grew steadily and became the main driver of the company’s growth. France was the first market where Panadero worked with DIY chains, followed by Belgium, Italy, Portugal, Germany and many others. Today we are present in 36 countries.
In 2009 the company brought production and storage together in a newly built, modern factory in Albacete. Manufacturing was reorganised, and the warehouse and logistics departments were made far more efficient. The new factory has state-of-the-art machinery and technology.
In 2017 Panadero got ahead of the times and developed cutting-edge models designed to meet the strict new European EcoDesign 2022 standard. These models represent a step forward in the way stoves are built, with higher output, greater efficiency and very low emissions. Making environmentally friendly stoves became a guiding principle of the whole manufacturing process. The stoves are also airtight and take their combustion air from outside. Their energy rating is the highest available, reaching A or A+, and they come with an extended warranty of up to 5 years.
New challenges, the continuous development of more sophisticated and innovative stoves, and new markets are what this company is working on — and will keep working on for many years to come.
